Background
Gordon Gaffney is the Job Interviewer. He holds a degree in Computer Science from Trinity College Dublin.
He worked on Film Ireland magazine for 6 years. While there he conducted his first job interviews. After Film Ireland ceased publication and moved online he started preparing and advising candidates for job interviews on an informal basis.
After preparing more than 30 successful candidates he decided to launch the Job Interviewer to offer a cost effective solution to candidates that believe that job interview practice makes perfect.
Our Methodology
In many ways a job interview is a performance. And like an actor or musician on stage you need to rehearse so that you can be at your best.
Employers want competent employees. Being as prepared as possible gives you the best chance at success.
Practicing in front of a mirror, a family member, or getting feedback from AI is not the same as from an experienced, impartial job interviewer.
Most roles nowadays are filled via recruiter. Your recruiter should have valuable information that they will give you. But they may not have time to conduct mock interviews or one-on-one coaching. That’s where we come in.
