Quite simply you pay per hour. Whatever we do in that hour is up to you.
Yes, even our CV preparation, cover letter, online profile service is priced per hour, see below. We believe far better results are achieved when we can work with out clients to probe deeply into their experience to highlight strengths that they may not have thought about.
This also provides the basis for discussing your previous roles in the job interview itself.
Our rates are competitive allowing you to practice your answers several times to give you the best chance of success at very low risk for you.
What will my session look like?
For mock interviews we will ask you questions for approximately 30-40 minutes and provide feedback on all your answers, usually for the final 20-30 minutes of the session.
This feedback will be in a Google doc which we share with you so you can refer to it.
For the most common interview questions this link is excellent. For more on competency based interview questions, that is “Tell me about a time where….”, this provides around 150 questions as well as more on the STAR technique ( Situation, Task, Action, Result) of answering them.
I usually use Google Meet for online video calls and will email you the link just as our session starts.
The more information we have the better we can prepare.
For CV, online profile you can email a MS word doc or share a google doc. Do NOT send a PDF, they are difficult to edit.
For job interview practice you can send us:
- Your CV
- Cover letter, if you have it
- Job description.
- Anything else you feel is relevant, e.g. information your recruiter might send you.
Feel free to redact any information you don’t want to share, for example salary.
Send this information to us as soon as possible, the longer we have it the more we can prepare.
Of course we will do whatever you want to do in your session. Perhaps there are some specific questions you want to practice, or a part of your CV/previous work history.
